She made her Telugu language début through Y.V.S. Chowdhary's Devadasu opposite newcomer, Ram but has also done a Tamil language film and has recently signed an other Tamil language film.
Ileana was born in Mumbai, India of Goan parentage Ronaldo Leo is an Roman Catholic and Sameera a Muslim. Her parents named her name after Ileana Cosânzeana (Helen of Troy) from Greek mythology. she completed her high school studies at St.Mary's Convent High School, Mapusa , Goa.
